Most families arranging care for a parent in India do it through a phone number somebody passed on: an attendant with no verification, no replacement when they fall ill, and nobody to call when something goes wrong at night. The care is only as good as that one person, and the family finds out how good on the worst possible day.
Eldrly puts a company behind that person. Every professional is verified before they are approved, a replacement is arranged when the regular one cannot come, the family confirms each visit from their own account, and a care team answers around the clock.
How it works
- A family chooses a plan — a caregiver alone, or with nurse and doctor visits — and a day or night shift.
- A verified professional living near the address is offered the work and accepts it in the Eldrly partner app.
- The caregiver checks in each day; nurse and doctor visits are agreed with the family and confirmed with a 4-digit PIN.
- Equipment, where needed, is delivered and installed at the address.
How partners are verified
Identity is proved through DigiLocker, the government’s own document locker, so Eldrly never handles or stores an Aadhaar number or a card image. Qualifications are checked, the partner signs a written agreement, and only then are they offered work. A partner’s location is recorded only while they are on duty and is never shown to a customer as a live position.
What Eldrly does not do
It does not diagnose, it does not provide emergency response, and it does not promise a clinical outcome. The treating doctor makes every medical decision; Eldrly’s professionals work to those instructions and tell the family what they saw.
